Cadterv Reorder
The concept of the application is to make fast and dynamic sorting of items in the CATIA assemblies inserted in tree structure according to various criteria.
- Loading assembly components into the user interface
The application lists automatically the assembly, which is loaded in the CATIA, and its components into the user interface. The user is able to set by which criteria the sorting should take place.
- by Part Number
- by Instance name
- Sorting options
There are several conditions the user can sort the listed items by. The modified settings remain after a possible restart of the application.
- Sorting automatically
If the user chooses this option, then items of the list cannot be moved manually, the application sorts the components automatically according to the settings.
- Selecting a string (by which to sort)
- Set the orientation of the list (ascending, descending)
- Sort of subassemblies (top of the list, bottom of the list, together with other list elements)
- Sorting manually
When the user would like to sort the list by hand, then the sorting options are not available.
- Moving elements in group or one by one.
- Moving elements before or after a selected element.
- Sorting the components of the model in CATIA
If the user confirmed the list sorted either by the application or by the user, then the application will make the same order within the loaded assembly in CATIA.
